Student Council

Student Council will be beginning the annual Drive Smart Challenge in October.  The purpose of the program is to encourage the use of seatbelts and discourage the use of cell phones while driving.  The challenge begins and ends with an observation of seat belt use.  One of the activities this year will be for all seniors to attend a Community Safe Driving Rally sponsored by FedEx.  October 23-26 is Red Ribbon Week and student council tries to plan special days and activities to encourage students to be drug free.  The theme this year is “The Best Me Is Drug Free”.  Kickball in the Fall has started at lunch time.
