El club de espanol

en Bergman High School

    Spanish club is an extracurricular organization open to students who are currently enrolled in a Spanish class or who have completed the program offered at the school.  The over-riding goal of the club is to provide cultural awareness activities that might not be part of the curriculum.

The first activity of the 2011-12 school year was a party provided by the Spanish II students for the Spanish I students.  The second-year students cooked chicken sopes, and churros y chocolate for the party.  The students use their Spanish names, so I won't identify them.  You should be able to tell they were having a good time celebrating Mexican Independence Day--notice the flags!  Fiesta!
